Eric has moved the discussion of this to his own blog. For those of you wishing to follow the arguments I would be glad if you would give his blog a visit and examine the evidence presented by both the Baptist and the Pedobaptist position.
His blog is at the following address:
I believe there are three posts on his blog where this debate has continued.
The most notable thing about the whole discussion is that he will not provide one concrete, verifiable, undeniable example of a baby being baptized in any century of the early church, 1st through 5th?? Could it be that there is no concrete, verifiable, undeniable example of a baby being baptized in the first six centuries of church history???
This creates great peril for his position although he eloquently and vehemently defends it in the absence of a lack of positive evidence.
Soooooo, the age old battle continues.
