Thanks for bringing it to my attention!James McEntirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076786630641849452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25640206.post-66851947827278045002007-11-30T20:59:00.000-06:002007-11-30T20:59:00.000-06:00jennifer,Thanks for commenting. Most news organiz...jennifer,

Thanks for commenting. Most news organizations get their news responsibilities and their editorial privledges mixed up. Granted, it would be difficult to not do so. How do you write an article without any of your views coming through. Articles that did not have that would probbaly be rather boring. And of course that is not even counting the editorial process that goes into what part of the story they tell and what part they do not.

Zan,

Been a while since I have heard from you. Glad to see your still coming by at least occasionally.

I'm sure you are right about the passage of the bill but it is a bit disconcerting that someone would even raise the issue. Today it may not pass but what about a decade from now???

I am going over to listen to the interview now.

Again, thanks for stopping by.James McEntirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076786630641849452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25640206.post-67819667963925315682007-11-30T16:39:00.000-06:002007-11-30T16:39:00.000-06:00http://michaelgraham.969fmtalk.mobi/2007/11/28/mic...http://michaelgraham.969fmtalk.mobi/2007/11/28/michael-graham-michael-talks-about--the-law-that-would-outlaw-corporal-punishment-with-state-representative-jay-kaufman-who-sponsored-the-bill.aspx

This link should take you to a podcast. It is an interview of MA Rep Kaufman who is sponsoring the anti-spanking bill. The interviewer is a local talk-show guy. I noticed the media did NOT cover this interview which was very telling about how hypocritical MA politicians are.

*Warning* the rep says d*mn at the end of the interview when his hypocrisy is revealed.

I don't think the law will ever pass because it is so vague and enforcing it would be impossible. MA can't even manage their own roads (Big Dig). Why do they think they can manage families???

-ZanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25640206.post-40807063910115089022007-11-29T11:24:00.000-06:002007-11-29T11:24:00.000-06:00I agree with how biased the media are. I realized ...I agree with how biased the media are. I realized long ago that the journalist are not anything other than those that spin.

But you are correct that there is a hidden goal in the story, to make spanking a child criminal. No, but abuse is. Goes hand and hand with the complete and total removal of Christianity in our society.

On a side note, I lived having a step dad...he was a charmer just like the man who killed baby grace.

I often think that the man wishes to remove anything that resembles the other man. Definitely was the case in my life. Oh well. Thanks for pointing this story out.Pen of Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18256174061249630595noreply@blogger.com
